NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Mayor Bill de Blasio headed to Queens Thursday afternoon to help paint the borough's Black Lives Matter mural in Jamaica.
De Blasio grabbed a roller and filled in the yellow letters of the mural, located on Jamaica Avenue between 150th and 153rd Streets.
He also posed with local residents underneath the "Black Lives Matter Avenue" street sign, which references that stretch of Jamaica Avenue.
