Dominican-bound flight diverted to JFK over 'unusual odor': report

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – An “unusual odor” caused a JetBlue flight to be diverted to JFK Airport on Sunday morning.

Some passengers and crew members reported feeling unwell because of the smell, according to ABC7.

Flight 1203 had taken off out of Newark Airport and was heading to Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic.

ABC7 reports that the plane will be inspected and that passengers will take a different plane to Santo Domingo.
