Anthony Hobson, 48, turned himself in for allegedly killing Jennifer Irigoyen, 35, inside her Ridgewood building on Sunday.

The 35-year-old victim had neck and chest wounds when they found her in the lobby of the building at Myrtle Ave near Decatur. Neighbors told police they heard a big fight inside the woman's apartment, prior to her death.
A witness named Christian tells 1010 WINS she heard the woman screaming.
"I just heard screams and her just saying something about her baby and wanting to protect her baby," Christian said.
Bloody footprints were seen on the ground near the crime scene, and a man was spotted running away.
Hobson is charged with murder, tampering with evidence, abortion and weapons possession.
Ms. Irigoyen's family says she was a victim of domestic violence.
"Domestic violence seized Jenny's life too soon and in such a tragic way. As her family members, we cannot fathom the fear and anguish that she must have felt during her final moments," the family wrote. "She did not deserve this. She deserved to be happy. She deserved to be loved. She deserved to raise her son. We want to see justice served and hope that Jenny's passing influences others to speak up, leave, report, and diminish domestic abuse from their own lives."
Ms. Irigoyen sold luxury homes on the Upper East and West sides of Manhattan. She was also a dance and fitness instructor. There was no word on a motive for her killing.
