NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A major fire broke out on the Mario Cuomo Bridge temporarily shutting down all Rockland-bound lanes of traffic.

The New York State Thruway Authority said no injuries were reported and residual delays should be expected.
Black smoke could be seen billowing from either side.
