NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- House Intelligence Committee Chairman and Democrat of California, Adam Schiff, said Wednesday that public hearings in Congress in the impeachment inquiry of President Donald Trump are set to begin next Wednesday.
The hearings will kick off with testimony from the top American envoy in Ukraine, William B. Taylor Jr., and a top State Department official, George P. Kent, according to Schiff.
On Friday, Mr. Schiff’s committee will hear from Marie L. Yovanovitch, the former American ambassador to Ukraine, he said.
“More to come,” Mr. Schiff posted on Twitter.
