PANAMA CITY, Fla. (1010 WINS) – Police say a Florida man crashed his pickup truck into a bar to steal a Dr. Pepper—then sat down to sip the soda at a table.
Gavin Lee, 28, had attempted to go to the Re-Rack Bar in Panama City on Friday morning but the business was closed, according to WSAZ.
So he allegedly got into his Ford F-250 and drove through the front glass of the bar.
After smashing through the entrance of the business, police say Lee went inside the walk-in cooler and stole a Dr. Pepper.
Instead of taking off with the refreshing loot, police say he sat down at a table in the bar and finished the soda.
He was ultimately located by police, who allegedly found a Ruger LCP handgun on him.
He was charged with armed burglary.
