NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Gianna Bryant, the 13-year-old daughter of Kobe Bryant who perished in a helicopter crash with her dad last month, was honored by her teachers and classmates Wednesday night during a ceremony at which her No. 2 basketball jersey was retired.
A group of sixth- and seventh-graders at Newport Beach's Harbor Day School paid tribute to Gianna by singing the Maroon 5 song "Memories," of which mom Vanessa Bryant captured on Instagram (See video above)
Vanessa also posted a series of other videos.
In the first post, she wrote alongside a photo of Gianna's jersey, "My Gigi. I love you! I miss you. You've taught us all that no act of kindness is ever too small. Mommy is still and will ALWAYS be so proud of you mamacita."
