NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police released images on Thursday of a group of suspects they said surrounded and attacked an NYPD officer last month in Lower Manhattan.
The officer was attacked by two men in the group just before 8 p.m. on May 28 at Albany Street and West Avenue.

Officials say one man pushed the 37-year-old officer to the ground and then punched him in the face.
A second man hit the officer with his skateboard numerous times.

The group fled the location in an unknown direction.
The officer was treated for a bloody nose, bruising, and pain to the head and shoulder.
Authorities urge anyone with information to call NYPD's Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
