PARAMUS, N.J. (1010 WINS) — Commuters can expect heavy traffic in Paramus starting Monday, as the right lane of Route 4 westbound will be closed.According to the New Jersey Department of Transportation, PSE&G plans to permanently transfer wires from temporary poles to new poles daily from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., until Friday.Ramps to and from Paramus Road will be also be shut, including Paramus Road northbound to Route 4 westbound and the ramp from Route 4 westbound to Paramus Road southbound. The project began in January, when utility poles and wires were relocated and bridge abutments and bearings were repaired, said the DOT.

This is part of a $5 million project that replaced the deck on the Paramus Road Bridge over Route 4 back in June.
