In honor of this global -- if not slightly nerdy -- homage to all things "Star Wars," Lucasfilm released on Monday a video in honor of the day.
"Today, we celebrate the Force with us all," the video is captioned on YouTube. "Happy Star Wars Day and May the 4th Be With You!"
The 100-second video -- whose theme seems to be hope -- includes movie and TV footage from across the "Star Wars" universe from 1977's "Star Wars" to 2019's "The Rise of Skywalker."
