NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A 63-year-old woman was violently attacked in Manhattan last week, and now police are asking for the public's help in finding the man responsible.
Police released surveillance video of the suspected wanted in the Jan. 1 attack on Saturday.
The 63-year-old victim was walking near 10th Avenue and West 51st Street in Hell's Kitchen just after midnight when the man came up to her and punched her in the face, according to police.
The man then punched the woman, knocking her to the ground, before beating her in the face with a rolling luggage suitcase, police said.
The man then took off, rolling suitcase in tow.
The woman suffered injuries to her face, police said. Her condition wasn't immediately known.
