NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- So will Taylor Swift perform at Sunday night's American Music Awards?
That's the big question hanging over the awards show.
As of right now, it seems we don’t really know for sure. Last week Swift said her planned AMAs performance was "a question mark" because she claimed her former record label was preventing her from performing her old songs.
Then the label, Big Machine, said this week it struck a deal with the AMAs that will allow her to perform. But the AMAs said no such agreement exists and that such a decision would be made with Swift's team.
Confused yet?
You may just have to wait until Sunday to see how this all plays out!
Swift aside, there are lots of amazing performances to look forward too:
Post Malone will take to the stage with Ozzy Osbourne, Travis Scott and Andrew Wayy to perform Post Malone’s song "Take What You Want."
Green Day will celebrate the 25th anniversary of its 1994 album “Dookie,” by performing “Basket Case” and their latest #1 hit “Father Of All”
Kesha will return to the AMAs stage for her first performance since 2013. And she’ll be joined on stage by Big Freedia.
Shania Twain will also take to the AMAs stage for the first time since 2003 to perform a medley of her greatest hits.
And in addition to all of those incredible performances, Christina Aguilera, The Jonas Brothers, Camila Cabello, Billie Eilish, Selena Gomez and Lizzo are also slated to perform.
As for nominations, Post Malone has the most. He has 7 nominations, including artist of the year and favorite male pop/rock artist.
Next up are Ariana Grande and first-time nominee Eilish – each received 6 nominations, including favorite female pop/rock artist.
Then Lil Nas X and Swift are tied with 5 nominations each, followed by Billy Ray Cyrus, Khalid and Ella Mai with four each.
Swift is nominated for the coveted artist of the year category and she may make AMAs history if she wins.
She already is the current record-holder for most wins in this category with 4 wins. But she could go on to surpass Michael Jackson’s record for most AMA wins of all times – which is 24 – should she win in 2 of the 5 categories she’s nominated in.
