NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- At least 60 activists have been arrested during Extinction Rebellion's protest over climate change in Times Square.
Some protestors shouting "this is a climate emergency" are being removed from the intersection of W44th and Broadway in handcuffs after blocking the street.
The protest has forced the closure of intersections including Seventh Avenue at 44th Street and Broadway at 46th.
