NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A 26-year-old man was killed after someone in an SUV reportedly shot at his car as both vehicles were traveling on an off-ramp in Brooklyn—a shooting that was reportedly sparked by road rage.
The victim was shot around 4:45 p.m. Friday on an off-ramp of the Jackie Robinson Parkway, near Highland Boulevard, in East New York, police said.
Officers found him with a gunshot wound to his torso. He was taken to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Sources told the station that it appeared road rage led to the deadly shooting and that they were searching for three suspects inside the SUV, which they said had Connecticut plates.
Police said Saturday that no arrests had been made and an investigation was ongoing.
