NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man who was arrested in Brooklyn last month for allegedly sexually assaulting a pre-teen girl may have abused other victims as well, the NYPD said Thursday.
John Russell, 59, was arrested in the 77th Precinct, which serves parts of Crown Heights and Prospect Heights, on July 30, police said. He has been charged with course of sexual conduct against a child and acting in a manner injurious to a child less than 17 years old, the NYPD said.
Russell allegedly forcibly touched and sexually assaulted a pre-teen girl more than once, according to police. Police believe he may have abused others as well.
