NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man arrested in Manhattan Sunday for the murder of a 77-year-old Miami man has claimed to officials that he is a serial killer, WABC reported.
While Nicholas Gibson, 32 -- who was recognized by an NYPD transit officer on the L train as a suspect in the grisly April murder of Eric Stocker -- was interviewed by officers from the Miami Beach Police Department, he claimed to be behind six other murders, according to WABC.
The murders, he said, took place in Florida, Georgia and California.
Miami Beach police are working with other law enforcement agencies to determine if his claim is credible.
