NEW YORK (1010 WINS/AP) -- A man was crushed to death while trying to move a safe up stairs in a Chinatown building on Sunday, police say.
The unidentified man was found pinned to death on the third-floor landing of a four story walkup.
EMS responded and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
Police believe the man was trying to move the safe up several flights of stairs in the Mott Street building when it fell on him.
