NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man was fatally struck with a bat in the Bronx on Wednesday, officials say.
At approximately 2:45 a.m., police responded to a man being assaulted by another man brandishing a baseball bat at 1530 Bayview Avenue in the Country Club section.
EMS transported the victim to NYC Health & Hospitals/Jacobi, where he was pronounced deceased.
There have been no arrests in connection to his death and the investigation remains ongoing.
Police have not released the victim's identity.
