
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is searching for two men they say slashed a man with a razor at The Times Square subway station on Tuesday.
A 41-year-old man was waiting on the mezzanine level of the 'A/C/E' line at the northeast corner of 8 Avenue and West 42 Street at approximately 4:30 p.m. when he was approached by the two suspects.
Police say a verbal argument ensued which resulted in one of the men punching the victim in the body then slashing him in the face with a razor.
The second man forcibly removed $40 cash from the victim's pockets, before both men fled to parts unknown.
The victim sustained bruising to his face and a minor laceration to his lip but refused medical attention.
Authorities describe the first suspect as a 20-year-old man with a dark complexion, weighing 150 pounds. He has a slim build, brown eyes, eyeglasses and is approximately 5'8" tall with short dark hair.
He was last seen wearing black sweatpants, a white t-shirt, a surgical mask, and black sneakers.
The second suspect is described as a 20-year-old man with a dark complexion, 160 pounds with a slim build, brown eyes, approximately 6'0" tall with short dark braided hair.
