NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A passerby spit on an MTA bus driver as she was dropping off passengers in the Bronx, the NYPD said.

The 49-year-old bus operator was dropping off passengers along the Bx41 route, on Webster Avenue near Fordham University, around 5:30 p.m. on Monday when a man approached her window and spit on her, police said.
The man fled the scene after the incident, the NYPD said. He was last seen wearing a yellow hoodie.
