Man who sexually abused woman, 23, sleeping in Times Square train station sought: police

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD released surveillance video on Friday of a man they say sexually abused a woman while she slept inside the Times Square - 42nd Street subway station.

Police say at approximately 4:50 p.m.,on Thursday Sept 5, the suspect approached and sexually abused the 23-year-old female victim, forcing her to wake up.

The suspect then fled in an unknown direction and was last seen wearing a long sleeved shirt and black sweatpants with yellow stripes, officials say.

Authorities urge anyone with information to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-8477.
