NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man wearing a surgical mask around his neck put a 64-year-old woman in a chokehold, knocked her down and exposed himself to her before fleeing on a Citi Bike, the NYPD said.

The woman was walking on East 111th Street, near 2nd Avenue in East Harlem, around 11:30 p.m. on Monday when a man she didn't know came up behind her, put her in a chokehold and knocked her to the ground, police said Wednesday.
The man then exposed himself to the woman before pedaling off on a Citi Bike, the NYPD said.
The woman was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, according to police. Police didn't immediately say what condition she was in.
The man was last seen wearing a long black coat, black jeans, a black hat and scarf, blue and gray sneakers and a blue surgical mask, police said.
