NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police are searching for two men who slapped an 89-year-old woman and set her shirt on fire in a random attack in Brooklyn.
The victim was walking near 16th Avenue and 77th Street in Bensonhurst last Tuesday evening when she was approached by two men, police said.
One of the men slapped the woman in the face. Police said as the woman was trying to get away from the men, they lit her shirt on fire with a match or lighter.
The woman was not seriously injured in the attack, according to police.
The men were last seen on 16th Avenue; police released surveillance video of them Friday.
