NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A new round of allegations of sexual misconduct against Matt Lauer will soon make the rounds.

A group of women with new claims against the disgraced former "Today" show host have spoken to author Ronan Farrow for his upcoming book "Catch and Kill," out Oct. 15, The New York Post reported Wednesday

"A number of women with new claims spoke with Ronan," a source told the Post.

Farrow also spoke with the woman whose complaint to NBC led to Lauer's firing. That woman was later identified as the ex-assistant to Meredith Vieira.

According to the Post, Lauer has "hired a team of high-powered lawyers" in advance of the book's release.

Lauer and his team are apparently aware of what's in the book, the Post reports, adding that they were given the opportunity to comment on the allegations.

The book's publisher, Little, Brown and Co. said in a statement it is "extremely proud of the important reporting in 'Catch and Kill,' which has been meticulously fact checked and vetted.
