NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD are searching for a group of armed robbers who stole thousands worth of clothing and jewelry from a downtown Manhattan birthday party.
Just after midnight on Saturday night, police say a 20-year-old man was hosting a party on Broad St. when he answered a knock on the door. Several armed men forced their way into the apartment, hitting the host on the head and ransacking the apartment. No serious injuries were sustained in the attack.
The Daily News reports that $3,000 worth of goods were stolen.
NYPD have released a video of six men getting into the elevator at 20 Broad St.
