NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- An 83-year-old Long Island man hit his wife with his car on Monday morning, killing her.
Peter Richard was backing his Mercedes out of his driveway in Fort Salonga when he struck his wife, Nancy Richard, 79. Nancy was on her way home after walking her grandchild to the bus stop.
Police say Nancy was taken to Huntington Hospital and pronounced dead.
Peter was not charged in the incident.
