Man yells racial slurs, threatens riders with box cutter on C train

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is looking for a man wanted for yelling racial slurs and threatening passengers on the subway.

The incident happened on Saturday, Sept. 28 at around noon on a moving northbound C train, police said. The man pulled out a box cutter, yelled out racial slurs, and threatened to cut the passengers in the train car, police said.

He then walked off the train at the Kingston-Throop Avenues station.

The suspect is described as a 5-foot-9 white man, about 40 years old. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt with the words "Soho HVAC" on the front, black pants, and black sneakers.
