NJ town to dedicate park on New Year's Day honoring 9/11 search, rescue dogs

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Glen Rock, New Jersey is going to the dogs.

The town will ring in the new year with a dedication ceremony for a new dog park honoring search and rescue dogs worked in the aftermath of the World Trade Center attacks on 9/11.

The park is the brainchild of Eileen Hillock and her daughter Michelle.

The ribbon-cutting will take place on Jan. 1 at 3 p.m. at the park located at 350 Doremus Avenue.

All vaccinated dogs and their owners are invited to attend the dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony.
