SUMMIT, N.J. (1010 WINS) – A New Jersey Transit train derailed Wednesday morning, partially suspending service on the Gladstone Branch in both directions for several hours.
An equipment train was in a slow speed derailment near Summit before 6 a.m., NJ Transit said.
The Gladstone Branch was suspended in both directions between Murray Hill and Summit.
Substitute bus service was provided between Murray Hill and Summit before train service resumed around 8:40 a.m.
