NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – The NYPD are searching for a suspect who took more than $20,000 in four construction site burglaries.
He has struck four times since Sept. 30.
In that first incident, the suspect stole $7,000 worth of tools after gaining access to a site at 40-09 121st Street.
Next, on Oct. 3, at about 4 p.m., he entered a door to a site, and took $10,000 worth of tools.
The following day at about 5:30 p.m. at 23-10 30th Drive, he damaged a front door to gain access to the site, and then took a generator, shovels, pick axes and a hammer.
Most recently, on Oct. 12, at about 7 a.m., at 37-10 10th street, he took $2,500 worth of tools before fleeing.
