NYPD seek suspect accused of stabbing man, 29, during Bronx dispute

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police released an image on Wednesday of a man wanted for stabbing a 29-year-old man during a dispute in the Bronx.

On June 6 at approximately 11:55 a.m., officials say the victim got into a verbal argument with the suspect in front of 1840 East Tremont Avenue.


According to police, the dispute escalated into a physical confrontation and the suspect brandished a knife and stabbed the victim several times in the torso, arms, and legs.

The suspect fled eastbound on East Tremont Avenue by bicycle, authorities said.

EMS transported the victim to Saint Barnabas Hospital in stable condition where he was treated for lacerations. 

Officials describe the suspect as a man in his 20-30s with a dark complexion.
