Off-duty NYPD officer arrested for shoplifting at Bronx Home Depot: report

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police arrested an off-duty NYPD officer caught stealing in the Bronx, according to a report on Monday from the New York Post.

According to the report, at approximately 4 p.m. on Sunday, officials allege that 34-year-old Julio Jimenez was caught shoplifting from a Home Depot store in the Throgs Neck section.

Officials say Jimenez was charged with petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property and was suspended without pay.
