NEWARK, N.J. (1010 WINS) – An officer was attacked while on the scene of a fatal shooting in Newark, according to reports.
Police say a shooting in Newark on Tuesday night left one person dead and two others are injured, one critically.
The three men were shot around 8:40 p.m., at a beauty and barbershop on Clinton Place, police say.
According to CBS2 someone tried to cross the police lines at the scene of the shooting Tuesday night and assaulted an officer.
This is the second shooting in Newark in two days.
