NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – An NYPD SUV crashed into parked cars and flipped over in Chelsea on Tuesday morning, injuring the two officers inside.
Two female officers were inside the vehicle near 28th Street and 11th Avenue when the one driving crashed into three parked vehicles just after 6 a.m.
The crash caused the SUV to overturn onto its side in the middle of the roadway.
Citizen App video from the scene appears to show the windshield of the SUV shattered.
The two officers suffered minor injuries, including neck and back pain, and were taken to Bellevue Hospital.
No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the crash is being investigated.
