NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Michael Cohen and Omarosa Manigault Newman appear to have bonded over their common enemy: Donald Trump.
"She apparently has taken on the role of his personal adviser/coach," a source told The New York Post about the former White House staffer's relationship with the president's former layer.
The source said Newman is "helping him get through this since they share a common disdain for the president."
According to the newspaper's source, the "Apprentice" alum was seen this summer visiting Cohen at Upstate New York's Otisville Federal Correctional Institution, where he's serving a three-year sentence for campaign violations and fraud.
Newman's visit to the facility "created a buzz within the facility" and additional security was added, the Post's source said.
Newman would not comment to the Post about her relationship with Cohen, but her lawyer John M. Phillips said, "We are in the process of naming and interviewing witnesses in her cases and would expect Michael Cohen to be one."
