NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police on Staten Island are investigating after two men were shot Monday afternoon.
At approximately 1p.m., officials responded to a 911 call of a man shot in front of 3016 Richmond Terrace.
The victim was later identified by police as Prince Edmonds, a reputed Bloods gang member who fatally ran down a man after a brawl between rival gang members and car chase outside of a Staten Island criminal court in July 2018, less than a year after he was freed from prison.
According to officials, the brawl escalated, with Edmonds and four others jumping into a stolen minivan and chased 26-year-old ex-con Robert Craigwell, who was shooting at the van.
Edmonds then struck Craigwell, pinning him against a nearby home and killing him.
Subsequent investigation determined that a 22-year old man was also shot in the left arm at the above location and was transported by private means to Richmond University Medical Center Hospital in stable condition.
There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
