
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A person was struck by a train in Midtown on Friday causing delays and reroutes, MTA officials confirm.
The victim was struck by the 6 train at approximately 1 p.m. on the northbound track at the 51st Street station.
"Northbound 6 trains are running on the express track from Grand Central - 42 St to 125 St while we request NYPD and EMS assistance for someone struck by a train at 51 St. For service to/from bypassed stations, take a southbound 6 train," The MTA said on Twitter.
