NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Three 15-year-old boys were arrested on Monday in connection to a series of newsstand robberies in the city, officials say.
Police are also searching for 10 other suspects wanted for questioning in 14 total newsstand robberies citywide.
According to authorities, the latest incident occurred in Brooklyn on Dec. 22, at approximately 6 p.m. inside of the Borough Hall subway station.
Officials say four young men approached a 53-year old male employee of the newsstand and went behind the counter and then began to punch him in the head and body.
The suspects removed an unspecified amount of cash and candy from behind the counter before fleeing on foot.
