NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police have arrested a man in connection to the shooting that occurred Thursday evening injuring one man and an 11-year boy in Brooklyn.
Angel Eaddy, 27, was arrested and charged with two counts of attempted murder, four counts assault, two counts criminal use of firearm and two counts of reckless endangerment.
He kept his head down as he was lead out of the 77th preceinct in handcuffs with people shouting at him.
"He was 11!" one person shouted.
"Do you regret it?" another person asked.
In front of the supermarket where the shooting occurred, anti-violence advocate Tony Herbert called a meeting of about 200 community and faith based groups to do more to prevent violence and make the streets safer this summer.
"Its ok to have out community policing, it's ok to have violence interrupters but they need the backup support of other organizations and resources so that we can stop the violence right in its tracks." Herbert said.
There is still no word on motive for the shooting.
