NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A New York state man was arrested after he was found hiding completely naked in the closet of a neighbor's child.
Brian Bates, 48, who has a history of public lewdness, broke into Catherine Graham's apartment on September 18th and snuck into her child's closet, police said.
Bates removed a window screen in the back of the apartment and was seen walking naked around the home by two neighbors who immediately called the police.
"My husband comes down like a cannon shot out of the building saying 'I think he's in the apartment downstairs,'" said neighbor Keah Larsen.
Bates then went into the closet inside the room of Graham's daughters ages 10 and 6, which is where police say they found him.
He was arrested and faces felony burglary charges that carry up to 15 years in prison.
