NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 13-year-old girl was shot in the shoulder while sitting in a park bench in Brooklyn just before 8 p.m. on Wednesday, police say.
The incident occured at St. Andrew's Playground in Bedstuy and authorities believe that she may have been hit by a stray bullet.
According to reports the alleged shooter was a male teenager.
The victim was rushed to Kings County Hospital, and her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Nearly a dozen people have now been hit by stray bullets since June.
