Police confirm carbon monoxide kills 1, injures 3 in NJ home

BERNARDSVILLE, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- Authorities confirm that carbon monoxide poisoning caused the death of a man and injured three others at a home in central New Jersey.Emergency responders went to the Bernardsville home around 5:40 a.m. Thursday.Authorities say 59-year-old Olumide Emuleomo was found dead inside the Chestnut Avenue home.

Police say his wife, 51-year-old Uchente Emuleomo, and their children, a 10-year-old boy, and a 5-year-old girl were all taken to Morristown Memorial Hospital, but further details on their conditions were not disclosed.

The incident remains under investigation.
