NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police say a group of at least five people has been robbing teens in Prospect Park in recent days.
Three robberies have been reported so far, including two at the end of April and one just this past Thursday.
In the first robbery back on April 25, a 16-year-old boy was robbed of $8, police say.
A couple days later, police say the group punched a 13-year-old in the face and stole his iPhone.
Then on Thursday, a 17-year-old was punched in the face and pushed to the ground by the group, who stole his iPhone and backpack, which had a $4,000 Apple MacBook and $100 speakers in it.
Police released an image of one of the suspects on Saturday.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
