Police search for gunman in fatal Bronx shooting

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD released a video Monday morning of the person they say was the gunman in a fatal Bronx shooting. 

Police say that on Sunday, July 28, at approximately 9:49 p.m., the suspect approached a 34-year-old male victim from behind and shot him in the back of the head, in front of 2708 East Tremont Avenue.


The gunman then fled the location on foot, northbound on East Tremont Avenue.

EMS responded to the scene and transported the victim Jacobi Hospital, where he died.

The suspect was last seen wearing a gray baseball hat, black Adidas t-shirt with white stripes, black shorts, and black sneakers.
