LONG HILL, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- A school bus ran off the road and slammed into a utility pole in Morris County on Monday morning.

Law enforcement officials tell NBC4 the bus hit a car and veered off the road near Long Hill Road and Meyerseville Road around 8:30 a.m. with eight students and one adult on board.
The bus ran partially into the woods, and was covered in downed power lines. Children trapped inside had to be helped off the bus by firefighters.
Passengers were shaken up, but will be okay. One person was taken to the hospital.
It's not yet clear where the bus was headed at the time of the crash.
