LOS ANGELES (1010 WINS) -- Following the death Monday of actor Luke Perry, production on the CW series "Riverdale" remains shut down for a second day, Deadline reported

Perry, who died at age 52 following a massive stroke last week, plays Archie Andrews' father, Fred Andews.

"Riverdale" has a few more episodes left to shoot from its current third season, according to Deadline.

The storyline surrounding Perry's character is likely being reworked.

"Luke Perry... you were a joyful and vibrant soul," the twitter account for the "Riverdale" writers posted. "You will be missed but most certainly your legacy will be remembered forever. Rest in love and peace, friend."
