Professional wrestler King Kong Bundy dead at 61

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Professional wrestler King Kong Bundy died Monday at age 61.

Bundy, born Christopher Alan Pallies, was best known for appearing in the World Wrestling Federation in the mid-1980s and mid-1990s.


He faced Hulk Hogan in a steel cage match for the WWF Heavyweight Championship in the main event of Wrestlemania 2.

Bundy, 6'4", and 458 lbs., made two guest appearances on sitcom "Married…with Children."

He was scheduled to appear at WrestleCon in New York next month.

Hate to hear about the passing of King Kong Bundy. He was so cool to me when I walked in that @WWE dressing room as an absolute nobody in 1986.
