LOS ANGELES (1010 WINS) --  Felicity Huffman was one of 13 parents who pleaded guilty last week to conspiracy to commit fraud in connection with the college admissions scandal.

Now, the question is, will she be sent to prison and for how long?

Well, a law enforcement source with knowledge of the investigation tells CNN that prosecutors plan to seek a sentence of four to ten months.

Her public apology has nothing to do with seemingly short sentence, the source tells CNN.

A federal judge, though, will decide on Huffman's sentence.

She is due back in court on May 21 for a sentencing hearing.

Huffman agreed to plead guilty to paying $15,000 to a fake charity associated with Rick Singer to facilitate cheating for her daughter on the SATs.
