NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- R. Kelly landed at New Jersey's Teterboro airport Thursday afternoon and was transported to Manhattan's Metropolitan Correctional Center, a day ahead of his scheduled appearance in a Brooklyn court.
WNBC first reported R. Kelly's arrival at Teterboro and captured it in a video shot from its chopper.
R. Kelly will appear in court to be arraigned on an indictment accusing him of racketeering and sexual exploitation of children. He has already pleaded not guilty to a federal indictment in Chicago charging him with possession of child pornography. He was ordered held without bail.
In WNBC's video, the singer's hands are cuffed in front of him, and he's wearing a tan prison shirt and orange shoes. He's escorted by several law enforcement officers out of the aircraft and into the back of a pickup truck waiting on the tarmac.
Escorted by a police SUV and followed by a black sedan and a second police SUV, according to WNBC, the pick-up truck departed the airport headed for the Metropolican Correctional Center, where fellow alleged pedophile Jeffrey Epstein is currently being housed.
