NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A video captured a Revel moped engulfed in flames on a street in Brooklyn over the weekend.
The video which was posted on Reddit on Sunday shows the rental scooter on fire at the corner of Lafayette and Nostrand avenues in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

"Just drove by a #Revel that seemingly caught fire/exploded," user @JHamiter wrote on Twitter.
Currently, the cause of the flames remains unclear.
"We are aware that a Revel moped in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood was damaged by fire last night, and we are investigating the cause of the incident," a Revel spokesperson told the New York Post.
The moped sharing company announced its return to New York City in August following a string of fatal crashes over a span of 10 days.
